These terms apply to the NeedMeA website, request tracking, provider directory and provider inbox services.
Service scope
NeedMeA helps organise, track and route service requests. Independent providers decide whether they can assist, and NeedMeA does not guarantee that a provider will respond, accept a request or complete a service.
Request submission and tracking
Submitting a consumer request creates a private NeedMeA tracking record and may create a tracking account for the email you provide. It does not create a booking, service contract, quote, guarantee of response, or guarantee that a suitable provider is available. The tracking timeline is the source of truth for what NeedMeA has actually recorded as happening to that request.
Provider inbox routing
For requests NeedMeA can classify with sufficient confidence, a sanitised version may be routed into the private NeedMeA inbox of eligible approved providers in the relevant service category and area. This does not create a booking, quote or service contract and does not share the consumer’s email or phone. A routed request does not confirm provider availability or capacity.
Email updates
Newsletter emails are optional and require separate consent. You can unsubscribe using the link provided in newsletter emails.
Your information
Please provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in free-text fields. Our Privacy page explains how information is handled.
Providers
Registering as a provider or claiming a profile does not guarantee request volume, exclusivity or that every request will be suitable. Providers remain responsible for deciding whether to act on a request and for the services they offer.
Business profiles and claims
NeedMeA may publish factual business information sourced from publicly available business websites or other appropriate public sources. A profile marked unclaimed has not been confirmed by the business. A successful ownership claim gives an approved owner control of selected profile fields, but does not mean NeedMeA endorses the business, guarantees its licence status, verifies every statement it makes, or guarantees its availability. Businesses can contact NeedMeA to correct or remove inaccurate profile information.
Safety and urgent situations
NeedMeA is not an emergency service. If there is an immediate threat to life, safety or property, use the appropriate emergency or essential service rather than relying on a website submission.
Availability of the site
We aim to keep NeedMeA useful and available, but the platform may occasionally change or be unavailable while maintenance or improvements are carried out.
